You’ve seen the online crowd. As a man, you probably don’t visit the women looking for men site but you should. Check out your competition. See what you’re up against. Then do all you can to stand out from the crowd.

Secret #1: Use humor. Women are suckers for a good laugh. if there’s one thing that will bring their guard down, it’s reading something truly funny. I’m not talking about the sick guy who makes fun of something then tells the women reading his post. See? Made you laugh didn’t I. I’m so funny. Women don’t dig that. if you have to tell someone you’re funny you’re probably not. Wit, however, is another thing – and subtle humor.

Being a story teller is a real gift. Even if you’re not particularly talented, keep rewriting something funny until it makes sense and makes you smile. Then, when you include it in your profile, don’t describe to her how funny it is. Let her read for herself.

Secret #2: Talk briefly about what kind of person you are. Women respect honesty here. if you’re a no bull kind of guy, tell her. if you have a problem with your temper, admit it. She’s going to know anyway once you meet her.

Better to be honest up front.

On the other hand, a little goes a long way. so better to mention a fault you’re working on and leave it at that. when a woman reads that you’re struggling too, and working to improve yourself, it makes you human to her. most women will really respect that.

Secret # 3: you are better off showing than telling, so when you describe all your good qualities, do it with humility. Women read arrogance into a profile especially when two things are present – a picture of you that could be seen as arrogant or posturing and a post that reads how wonderful you think you are.

So make your post in a kind of third person format. my friends would describe me as.. that way you don’t look like you’re bragging. I know, it’s a delicate balance between being self-assured/confident and looking arrogant/cocky, but this is something that can kill your chances online with the really nice girls.

So go check out your competition, read their posts, and see if you can find some of them with the problems I’m describing here. Then spend a little time evaluating your profile and crafting it to reflect these techniques and – see the difference it makes.
